Weather conditions can change rapidly, and it is common to experience rain, mist, and cloud coverage throughout the day. Guests should be prepared for all weather conditions and come equipped with appropriate gear (ponchos, water-resistant clothing, etc.). The rainforest’s natural beauty is often enhanced by the mist and rain, but guests should be prepared for potential changes in visibility and weather.

About this tour
- This tour will be available for all hotels with a minimum of 6 guests required to operate
- Participants must wear sneaker shoes as the terrain may be challenging
- Ponchos or water coats are highly recommended as rain is common in the rainforest
- Bathing suits should be worn underneath clothing, especially for those wishing to take part in water activities like the natural water slide
- Towels should be brought for drying off after water activities such as the natural water slide
- It is very important to bring an extra pair of socks for climbing the water slide. Socks will help you maintain better grip and prevent slipping, making the water slide experience safer and more enjoyable
- We recommend bringing a phone cover to protect your device in case of rain
- Guests may bring an extra pair of clothes and shoes if they prefer to change after the water activities
- Food is not included, so guests should plan to bring their own snacks and water

✅ Hike to Mt. Britton Tower (1 hour each way)
A moderate yet rewarding trek through a well-maintained trail leading to one of the highest points in El Yunque. Surrounded by vibrant tropical vegetation, you’ll have the chance to spot native wildlife and learn about the park’s rich ecology and history from our expert guide.
This section of the hike takes guests on a moderate, well-maintained trail to Mt. Britton Tower, one of the highest points in the park. The trail is surrounded by dense tropical vegetation and provides opportunities for observing native flora and fauna. Along the way, our guide will share insights into the park’s ecology and history.
✅ Palo Colorado and Baño Grande (15-20 minutes)
✅ La Coca Waterfall (10-15 minutes)
Marvel at this stunning 85-foot waterfall, a perfect photo opportunity and a great place to soak in the rainforest’s refreshing mist.
✅ La Muralla (Snack Break)
Recharge with a short break in this peaceful area before continuing your adventure.
✅ Water Slide and Road 988
A natural water slide located within the rainforest. The smooth rocks and flowing waters create a thrilling slide into the cool pools below, perfect for a refreshing dip. On the way to Las Pailas, we will take Road 988, a scenic route that also passes by Puerto Roto and the Angelito Trail. These areas offer scenic views of the forest and are home to unique landscapes.
✅ Lunch with Local Cuisine (Not Included)
After our adventure, we’ll stop at a local restaurant where you can enjoy authentic Puerto Rican dishes (food not included). A delicious way to wrap up the day! Food is not included but we stop in a restaurant, so guests should plan to bring cash, snacks, and water.
