Don’t use them..they will steal your money and leave you hanging. We drove two hours only to find that they left us for being literally 3 minutes late.

Not worth it
We had Ruben Sr. as our guide, nice guy, friendly, speaks well. We just didn’t enjoy the tour as much as we thought we would. We went to the Rainforest visitor’s center and watched a 15 minute video about the Rainforest… there’s no hiking on this trip. Then we got dropped off at the beach which is no where close to being as clean as the beach at the hotel. (Ex. Garbage and syringes washed up). It was a waste of our time and money. We would not recommend this trip.

While this tour is more focused on learning and relaxing, we understand it may not have been what you were hoping for if you were expecting more hiking or active exploration. Regarding the beach, we take cleanliness very seriously, and we’re concerned about your experience. We’ll look into it and make the proper report to the city hall,since this is a public beach to ensure the location is properly maintained. Rain forest half day
I have been at a rain forest tour before . Seeing the tower, climbing to the top of the mountain to walk a long path and see birds and frogs and ended at a waterfall and swimming area and experience a total down pour of rain. It was magical.
This tour was quite different – no agenda was shared as to what we were doing first , second , etc.
entered the rain forest in our van – guide painted out a water fall-drove past it -kept climbing the mountain to stop at the tower , take some pictures and climb up the tower for a great view, next stop to see some frogs and snails and shared the vegetation at bono and climbed some steps to see a round man made lake and bridge, then back down the mountain to see the waterfall – take a few pictures- then drive to the bottom of the rainforest to private property and take a five minute walk to a river where you could jump off a cement platform and swim. You could not bring drinks or food to this area.
Never stopped for souvenirs or something to eat or drink. just straight home where everyone was super hungry and wanted to stop at the souvenirs shops along the way.

Amazing!!! Otherworldly!
Both excursions are an immersive experience of two natural wonders in one full day!! Bring your phone! Make sure it’s in a waterproof bag. But bring it.

Great tour! Ask for Kevin and Nanny!!
We had the best tour guides, Kevin and Nanny. These boats were so much fun! The reef life was fun to watch all of the fish and see what other things in the water you could find. The beach that you rest on was beautiful! Bring plenty of sunscreen, there’s an ice chest on the boat to throw a couple of waters into. there’s some granola bar snacks on the boat provided, and a “dry” ish compartment spot on the boat, it doesn’t stay fully dry though so plastic zip bags or a wet bag would be helpful to keep things drier. You will not be disappointed! Thank you!

Amazing Experience!
As a former local who now live in NYC, it was great coming back home and going on this tour with The Legend Matteo. As a great guide he walked us through how to operate and stay safe on the boats. Overall a great experience front to back i HIGHLY recommend this to any tourists or locals!

The rainforest is super beautiful and extremely unique, an absolute must to see. We originally wanted to go on our own, but so glad we decided to use the tour. The roads are very hard to navigate, and change all the time depending on the weather and the maintenance. Our tour guides Luis and Ruben grew up in the area, were very knowledgeable and so much fun!! it really adds to the visit to learn more about the culture in the history as well as the unique aspects of this rainforest. Oh well worth it 🙂
